To provide healthy meal options based on information from Forks Over Knives, a whole food, plant-based eating plan. Our primary goal is to learn together in a supportive and informal setting. Co-leaders select recipes and bring the ingredients to prepare several foods. Attendees then prepare the recipes and while eating the foods, we view a video that relates to a topic of Health and Wellness. Discussion of the recipes and other ideas are then shared with the group. The cost of the meals is then shared by all attendees – typically about $3-4.
Whether you are interested in having meatless meals more frequently or just occasionally, come to a session to find out what whole food, plant-based eating is all about.
